“Broken” is a song which belongs to the album “Winterheart’s Guild”, which tells the story of a man that feels he doesn’t fit anywhere since he is a child. (It can be thought that this man is immortal, because, it relates that he had a lot of lovers and all of them have died, also because of the phrase “I might be a God”) Among all his lovers, only one has been the one he really loved, and he decided to sacrifice himself for her, because he knew she didn’t know anything about him, so that thought terrified him a lot. (The fact that she doesn’t love him the same way as when she really knows him well) So, he decides to push her away by wounding her. Finally, he implies that he could scare her and he is alone once again.
